Dr Ghana Chapagain is a highly experienced psychiatrist with a long history of clinical practice across various regional and metropolitan hospitals throughout Australia. He has a strong interest and extensive experience in managing psychiatric conditions related to Functional Neurological Disorders (FND).
Dr Chapagain accepts referrals for clients aged 16 years and above. His areas of clinical interest include:
- Mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder)
- Psychotic disorders (Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder)
- Anxiety disorders (panic disorder, OCD, PTSD)
- Grief and Loss; adjustment disorders
- Eating disorders (once medically stabilised)
- Adult ADHD and Psychological problems related to neurodevelopmental Disorders
- Disorders related to Drugs and Alcohol Use
- He has a keen interest and experience in managing psychiatric conditions related to Functional Neurological Disorders (FND).
- He is also an accredited psychiatrist for Workcover assessments.
